Hydrogen Cars
The Honda FCX (Fuel Cell eXperiment) runs on all hydrogen. This 2008 concept vehicle has a top speed of 100mph (160 km/h) and has 60mpg engine.
To support the hydrogen technology, Honda has come out with a system called the Home Energy Station (HES). This system allows FCX owners to have a "pump" at their own home until hydrogen stations become popular.
The other car to run on hydrogen was the GM Hy-Wire. It was expected to be viewable by the public in 2010. The FCX is expected to come out in 2008. This shows that the future is closer than we think.
